I have over sixty references, when taken in context and in agreement with the epistles, directly or indirectly substantiate that Jesus personally claimed to be God.
The Trinity has often confused many about the nature of God: How Can God be One and yet be three distinct persons? Christianity was forced to adopt and embrace the components of the Trinity because of the testimony found in scripture. Did God really command Moses and Joshua to completely annihilate Amalek, and other nations in the Promised Land? How could a God who is love, order such things? When it comes to this question, why did God destroy the whole earth with a flood? The answers to these questions may amaze you... What about the unborn? What About Children who pass away before they could understand? What about the mentally incapable? What about those who could understand but never hear about Jesus? The Bible doesn't address these questions in a straight forward way. The answers provided in this booklet build up truths revealed in scripture. The bottom line is however: God is just and true, holy and righteous, and His judgments will leave all of us satisfied. God, who is love, is really the only one we can believe, trust, and count on to be faithful and true. Worship is seen almost as an obligation, duty, or debt. We have the idea that God created us to worship Him because He needs it. God doesn't need anything. He doesn't need our love, our praise or our worship. Worship is not for God's benefit; it is for ours! When we worship we are the ones receiving. When we see His glory we want to worship because we are seeing the most beautiful, majestic, awesome and amazing being. We need to worship God so that God's grace fills our lives. We get the God we worship... What good does it do for me to worship God if I'm not to expect anything in return? Does God need slaves or servants just to worship Him? It reflects poorly on a dictator when his people are impoverished, sickly, and living in ghettos. Do we respect and honor such a situation? I hardly think so, why would we think that God being High and Lifted Up means nothing for us? God doesn't need our worship! We were made to worship God because of His benefits towards us! God is good because of the riches of His grace He made to abound towards us (Eph. 1:8)! God is glorified when we receive! God is satisfied when we take, take, and take some more! Worship is for our benefit! What is the Rapture? The Rapture refers to the "Catching away" or the "departure" of the saints from this world. Why would God take away his saints from the earth? Didn't Jesus say, "The meek shall inherit the earth? (Matt. 5:5)" The Second Coming of Christ and the Rapture are two separate events for two different purposes. It is the purpose of this booklet to present the fundamental differences between them.
Two Pillars of the Church that Confuse and Disarm Us: God Allows and chooses if and when He’ll Intervene? Both of these opinions about God’s activity and responsibility in this earth have negative effects on our faith. If we believe that God is allowing good things to happen to bad people or bad things to happen to good people as in standing by watching and doing nothing about it, we are going to frustrate ourselves and cripple our faith to trust God. Suffering and pain are a part of this world. We must know the difference between what God’s will is and what is not. We need to know the difference between the sufferings of Christ and the sufferings of this world. God’s promise is to bring good out of evil and to make all things work for our good; however, that does not mean that all suffering and pain come from God! We need to embrace the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings for the benefit of others so that we walk in newness of life and the power of His resurrection! Amen. Out of the heart the issues of life are determined! Our heart is influenced by what we hear, speak, and meditate on. Our hearts must be established in God's grace. This means we must become certain, convinced, and sure of God's will. We must eliminate doubts...it is difficult to believe when our hearts are filled with unbelief...we must change them towards God's Word...it may take time but it is worth it. If God expects us to heal and we fail we are going to feel guilty. If we are responsible in Christ to heal but we don't does that take the guilt away? We are responsible by commission; but God has given us His grace and in Jesus there is no more condemnation (Rom. 8:1). Guilt and condemnation come from the law! The law's primarily function is to expose all of us as lacking in God's love. When we understand that our predicament is impossible; we'll turn to Jesus our savior. In Jesus we are no longer under the law but under grace... There is a subtle but real difference between unbelief and doubt and understanding it helps us overcome both. Doubt has everything to do with knowing God's will. If we don't know it we are in doubt. Jesus walked in full grace while we tend to be somewhat less in our daily living; therefore, our results may not come as quickly. There is also a difference between miracle (immediate result) and healing which the scriptures testify that we shall recover over time... Grace is what God has already done; faith is our response to it...Our faith doesn't move God; our faith accepts that God has already moved. When things are difficult to grasp, remember, stay focused on, that indicates a hardened heart. All of us are hardened toward various things. We need to change our heart's receptivity towards the things of God... Religion has taught us to be humble in some very strange ways. When we don't speak for God we are actually denying God's truth set up for us by God! When we became born again we entered a new kingdom. The old kingdom of darkness is based on naturalism. We think, act, and speak like the world; however, we've been redeemed and now have a new language it is faith. We need to exercise it to release it in our lives. Vague Christianity is unclear, uncertain, not single minded upon God's word and will. We are always between opinions about God's ways. Faith is seen as a mysterious and cloudy issue...this is the problem and what causes us to be powerless. Stop living in vagueness... Jesus spent as much as 80% of His time ministering healing to the sick. He spent as much as 80% of His teaching warning about @#!*% . Make no mistake about it, we may not understand it, we may not like it, but @#!*% is real and we must deal with it. This is a very good question but it also reflects a lack of understanding about love. Love does not lie, change the rules, manipulate the ending or claim that the ends justify the means. @#!*% was certainly on the mind of Jesus; He said he came to save that which was lost... If Hell is for punishment, it is over the top! But Jesus said He came to seek and to save that which is lost! Lost is not punishment, it is about separation, brokenness, and irreconcilable differences. This is an important teaching because there is a lot of confusion about where S & D comes from. Does God make us sick to punish us? Does the devil have power to make us sick? The answer is the curse of the law. There are many proofs, validations, confirmations that Christianity is the way, the truth, and the life in Christ. There are Two Proofs that stand out that no other religion can offer. God's will is not being done on the earth! God has given dominion to human beings and what they do with it He cannot stop. But that is not the end of the story God has sent His Word and His Son to intervene. (See Booklet "He Ever Makes Intercession!") One of the main reasons that there are so many divergent opinions is the tension found in scripture. Some would claim the Bible contradicts itself; however, the truth is that there is always a left and right to every precept. When we ignore the tension we go off to the left or the right of the matter. When we embrace the tension we are heading in a more balance position. There is a lot of confusion and misrepresentation of the gift of praying in tongues. For many there is no understanding of the many reasons God has given each of us this grace tool. Read and discover and then pursue what God has for you... This book has many "hung up" from all sides of contentious issues. I examine it from various Old & New Testament passages and find not just one contradiction but many...I contend that it was written to express what men of old thought rather than what the truth is... This may not be a common question but it should be among the body of Christ. We have been taught that it's up to our faith and our believing; however, grace means we've been given His faith and His believing because we've been given Christ Himself. The work of the Prophets and Apostles are done. Jesus said that the law and prophets were until John. Then we see that the purpose of the apostles to establish and lay the foundation of teaching for the church is also done. What are the implications for those claiming to be apostles today? What about those claiming a special position as a prophet? This brief but powerful slideshow can help answer some of your questions concerning the uniqueness and truth about the Bible. Why is it God's Word? Why is it different from any other Book? Go to...Two Proofs |
