Lord of Lords Bible Community Church has at the core of our fellowship, a growing expectation. We are seeing more and more eyes opened, and hearts understanding, that God’s call upon our community of faith, is not supposed to be the same old things.

We’ve been studying the power of God in healing, deliverance, guidance, protection, and provision. We have been seeking to be filled with the Spirit and release the gifts of the Holy Spirit within us in greater faith. What has been the outcome? The outcome has been a greater awareness of God’s grace and will. Moreover, we have begun to see results.

“And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” -Mark 16:20

Christ The Healer!

Picture
God is glorified when we RECEIVE! It takes humility, obedience, repentance, and belief in the Word of God to receive. What is encouraging, is the desire of many to find God with more power in their lives, through being filled with the Holy Spirit. Some are praying in the spirit for the first time (tongues).
We have endeavored to grasp the difference between Doubt and Unbelief, and address hindrances to receiving from God.
Our unbelief has come from bad teaching, believing the world, and feeding upon doubt; then realizing that from our hearts, we have actually been calling God the problem and/or liar—simply not believing His Word.
How can we receive anything from the Lord if we are in doubt, filled with unbelief, and don’t really believe God from our hearts?

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12

When we don’t do the same works, it reflects that fact that WE don’t believe…God’s way of advertising the presence of Christ to the unsaved, is through healing, miracles, and casting out demons…this is the right, authority, and privilege Jesus bestowed upon his Church!

What Was Jesus' Attitude Towards Sickness & Disease?

He Also Came to Re-produce Himself in Us. We are to have the same attitude towards S & D as He did!

By B. D. Tate

He Considered S & D as someone Satan Has Bound

From Luke chapter thirteen we see clearly that in addressing healing on the Sabbath day that Jesus saw sickness and disease upon someone as being bound by Satan.

Lu 13:16  "So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound––think of it––for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?"

He Considered S & D as someone having Fallen into a Pit

From Luke chapter fourteen Jesus describes sickness and disease as someone who has fallen into a pit.

Luke 14: 5 Then He answered them, saying, "Which of you, having a donkey or an ox that has fallen into a pit, will not              immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?"

He Considered S & D as evil as someone having their life destroyed or killed! To heal then was to do good and not evil! To heal was to save life from death and destruction!

Mr 3:4 Then He said to them, "Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?" But they kept silent.
5 And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man,   "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

(Mt 5:16  "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.)

He Considered someone with S & D as Oppressed by the devil

From Acts chapter ten the scriptures testify that those who need healing are oppressed of the devil.

Ac 10:38  "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for      God was with Him.

He Considered S & D a work of the devil (John the apostle gives us his testimony about the attitude and purpose of Jesus towards S & D)

1Jo 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

He Considered it captivity!

Jesus came preaching deliverance to the captives…(More? Read the whole booklet here)

A Testimony Of Healing for An Injured Shoulder

Recently, my wife's shoulder was completely free and restored to full movement. It was back in January or February of this year that she'd hurt her shoulder.
She tried resting it and not using it for several months--no improvement. It pained her every time she tried to use it, put on clothes, or even get out of bed. She was very discouraged about it. She of course was speaking to her shoulder and praying over it.
After several months passed, I encouraged her to get physical therapy. She went and over the next several months into late summer her shoulder improved but the pain still remained. Her overall condition was about 75% use. The pain diminished with treatment but it didn't go away.
I called her up during the service and prayed for her with our congregation. Over the next few days she said her pain was gone but the shoulder movement was still restricted. She didn't have full movement.
In my prayer, "I commanded full recovery in Jesus' name." I expected her to experience full recovery but something inside me said, "It will happen when she forgets about her shoulder."
Several more months passed,  then somewhat out of the blue she said, "Look my shoulder is fully recovered! I was laying in bed and lifted it back without thinking and it was able to go all the way." So, in my heart I was blessed with her knowing the scripture is true--they shall recover!
It may take awhile, not because of God's lack of concern or power, but how grace manifests according to our condition (Eph. 3:20). If you're battling for your healing to manifest; stay the course, remain faithful as you remember that our efforts are to work the works of Christ because we have them...not to get them.
