We are born again and made new creations in Christ. This is a faith fact. This means we are brand new and have the same nature as God because we are His sons and daughters. Amen.
Our spirits are not healed, they are new creations (II Cor. 5:17). Why should we make this distinction? It is because many take the healing promises and provisions in scripture and interpret them to mean spiritual healing. I understand why this is done. It helps to explain why it is that many are not healed physically. It also takes away the pressure of expecting physical healing. Most of this comes from our experiences, not from scripture itself.
The scripture goes on to describe...

that our souls (mind, will, and emotions) are restored (Ps. 23:3). Healing may be what people identify with when we feel better emotionally or even mentally, but that is not what is actually happening--our soul is being restored as in reprogrammed properly or balance is restored, etc.
So, what this means is that the only actual healing taking place is physical. Matt. chapter 8 also makes this connection strongly:
16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,
17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses." {#Isa 53:4 }
The many were healed physically and delivered physically of demon-possession. We need to understand this truth so that we can eliminate doubt. James wrote that we'd receive nothing from the Lord if we doubt--we are double-minded about God's will.
I titled this blog transformation, because this is what takes place in our hearts and minds when we encounter the revelation of God's word. We are not transforming our spirit, we are not changing our physical bodies towards glorified ones. But we are transforming our hearts and minds towards and in agreement with our new creation realities. This progression is not in size, shape, or content because when we received Christ, we received all we are ever going to need or get.
The transformation: We are becoming more aware, more confident, and more bold because we are convinced and established in His grace.
I have recently wrote three booklets that explain this transformation more: Peace Is Power; Little Is Enough; His Truth Is our Shield and Buckler!
These booklets help us to realize that it is not our faith or our believing that will get the manifestation of God's will in our lives. It is standing in His faith and His believing! When we do, a by-product of doing this is peace and rest. This peace and rest is to help us realize that God has answered us and is bringing to pass His will in our lives. If we stay in His peace...
Furthermore, that the revelations we personally experience from God transforms us from weakness to power, from faithless to faith-full. It all depends upon our personal relationship to Jesus.
We are transformed in our faith walk as we know, experience, and relate to Jesus. Jesus really is our life, peace, rest, joy, and faith. Our lives are hidden in Him.
